Our design language
SIREN TEARS does not reproduce reference images or copy existing jewellery. Every bespoke piece is independently designed by our atelier, guided by the preferences you share and the natural character of the selected stones.
Your initial request
Submitting a request begins a conversation. It is not an order, a fixed quote or a payment obligation. We may decline a request if it falls outside our design language, production capacity or sourcing standards.
Budgets
Beaded bespoke begins at NZD $300. For hand-set gemstone jewellery, the initial budget is an indication only: the main stone, metal, scale and design complexity will determine the atelier estimate. All estimates and payments are in New Zealand dollars.
Estimate and price movement
After the design direction, stone and metal are established, the atelier will provide a written estimate. The eventual price may move within 10% above or below that accepted estimate. Any change beyond that range requires your approval before work continues.
Deposit and commencement
A bespoke order begins only after you accept the written proposal and pay a deposit equal to 50% of the accepted estimate. The full payment and cancellation terms will be shown again before payment and your acceptance will be recorded.
Client cancellation
Where a client cancels for personal reasons after paying the deposit, 70% of the deposit will be refunded and 30% retained toward design, consultation, sourcing and preparation already undertaken. If SIREN TEARS cannot complete the commission, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Natural variation
Natural stones are individual materials. Colour, pattern, inclusions and subtle differences are part of their character and will not be identical to another stone or screen image. These natural variations are not defects.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law. Faults or a material failure to match the accepted description will be handled in accordance with those rights.
